
Bill joined the firm in 1994 as a partner. Bill passed the Uniform CPA examination in 1970, clerked for Judge Carlisle B. Roberts of the Oregon Tax Court 1971-1972, and was in-house counsel for Pacific Northwest Bell 1976-1979. Active professionally, he has served on committees of the Oregon State Bar and Multnomah Bar Association including Public Service, Bar Press Broadcasters, Judicial Selection, Professionalism, and Legal Ethics. He has been a speaker and presenter at various Bar and Oregon Law Institute educational seminars.
In addition to representing insured and self-insured employers in workers' compensation defense and related issues, Bill represents parties in Oregon State courts and Federal courts in a variety of civil litigation matters.
Bill received formal training and certification in dispute resolution from United States Arbitration and Mediation. He is a skilled arbitrator and mediator for attorneys and their clients, offering innovative, cost-effective methods of resolving disputes.
